drenched and soaked, you were cleansed at that moment to become the man we know. Inspirations that come years later... reckoning the past that got carrried away until today...and the day that we get our call

So inspirational to see how a teacher impacted your tender life, dear Vincent...believing, guiding, supporting and understanding your amazing potential before you yourself... utterly beautiful to witness.

Thank you for sharing with us. Hugs, Maria

This is a deep and powerful reflection of the limits we impose on ourself by simply looking through the window...

but, oh to walk, even on the wild side, and experience what is actually out there...?

I love the way you express what you express... you always get me thinking, Vincent.

Vincent,

I was meant to savor this timeless and hauntingly beautiful poem twice today.

I love both of your sites and am determined to catch up on all of my reading by all of my favorites eventually... I am hoping you are seeing my comments on your other site, as I am not getting an immediate approval.

I agree with your statements above. Rabies can be cured when associated and contracted from a rabid wild out of control animal. However when it's human associated due to alcohol or drugs then that is a different matter. I use to see the foam dripping from his vile mouth when he drank and attacked my mother. The image of him never left my mind and it haunted me. Yes we are all made to a degree and live in a mad society. There are more sick, medicated and dangerous people walking the streets of our world than their are held in institutions. I see we both lived through alcoholic families and survived in tact, although mentally abused to a degree. Fortunately for myself drugs, alcohol have not been part of my style of living. I do everything in moderation and am thankful not to be addicted to anything other than my pen. Yes I like your connection with the cortex and your statement. The soul is then bare naked. It's exposed and alcohol and drugs can take over for sure. Yes many of my scribes and comments I have received were favorable and some say it helped them. Thank you for your lovely comment, much appreciated my friend.

I went trough the list of your poems, and this one was calling out for me. I know how evil this poison can be. I know it from my own childhood experience.
I love your comparison to Rabies. I think you already got the idea from my other comments, that putting rabies in line with human behavior is huge plus in my eyes.
I will leave one quote here too: "We are all mad, and rabid people are just sick" I want to say that when madness comes along with illness, it is curable. But madness that comes from dark human soul- it is not curable. It is just infective.
It is only possible to understand it when you live trough it. Alcochol is unique door to human soul. I will use medical explanation: person's brain under influence of alcohol is being decorticated. Without brain cortex all our self-control is lost. The soul is then bare naked.
Great poem! I hope someone will find himself in it and make some change in his behavior.

Thank you for your kind words my friend. I tried this voice medium and I am impressed with it's performance. I am thinking of doing my
podcasts of my work. Zurker is for everyone, give it a try. It's a new social media site, I guess they are trying to give FB a run for their
money. Thanks again for the comment, much appreciated.

Yes little did little Kenny know what laid in store for his future, this teacher and my mentor GDW were to become my inspirations and in this later time of my life bestow upon me the beauty of the Quill. It was stilled in my young life and hidden from me. It appeared as magical when my Muse GDW laid it to rest beside my soul. I to am glad to have met you here as well, we are kindred in many ways. I to am proud of you and could only guess your own teacher Miss CQ is proud of you as my Miss Schellenberg would be of Kenny. Thank you Lord for your praise and endorsement of my scribes. Peace and blessings to you friend.

"In his lonely hours he penned words so fluently
that flowed so effortlessly from his quill left
still "
I feel related to these lines...inspiration so fine and divine...comes naturally, letting the man express from what was left behind. Glad to have met you my friend. You really touched me with your quill and my own Teacher was Miss CQ, who should be proud of me. Thanks little Kenny,

Oh yes indeed they certainly were for me:-) I enjoyed their talents and many of their stories. Some were very sad, many were funny and some were to serious to share. It was interesting to say the least, how many of these ladies came to be pole dancers. Unfortunately many were sustaining a drug habit and needed to take their clothes off to get paid well. I sure spent enough money in my time on the streets of Montreal in various ways. I enjoyed dancers, they were entertainers in their own right and so many were beautiful. I adore females and the scent of a woman and of course maturity. Now entering my senior years I tread very delicately and now what appeals to me in a woman is her wisdom, experience, kindness and understanding. Hugs to you Maria. Thank you for the read and comment.

Ah my darling Vincent,

You are a healer for these ladies on the pole with your kind ways, as they, in their way, are for you. Oh, the stories these ladies could tell, I can only imagine. They would do well to keep a kind face, such as yours, close in their heart... while getting the job done. You leave an impact with your every word. Hugs, Maria

Yes I guess I do expose myself in much of my work, but that's just the way I scribe. Thoughtful poet maybe, but alas not very clever:-)) I am very thankful for your follow Dim, I have a deep respect for your talent as a writer who shows her heart and soul as I do in my scribes. Ah yes I appear to have some lady fans, yet they all are simply expressing themselves in their art as well. I am simply a humble poet amongst all of you fine talented ladies, you all inspire me to write and I am thankful for each and every one of you. Hugs
